 We just fully restocked The Flat Head 3002 & 1002 (from size 28 ~ 38) which are some of our most popular denims in store! 

The 3002 is in a low rise/slim tapered fit and the fabric is made with The Flat Head very own 14.5oz orange selvage ID denim which has been sold over 20 years in Japan and are also well loved by The Flat Head fans . The 3XXX denim is some very unique right hand twill denim will appear super strong vertical textured fades with wears . The denim has been rope-dyed over 24 times and more than 30 shades of indigo in it which fade much slower compares with others but with a mega contrast fade for a future look! 

 The Flat Head 1002 is some heavier version of 3002 and it is also called "Future Denims" in 16oz. The denim is slightly stiffer and they will age to a bigger contrast fade compares to 3002 denims. TFH 1002 maybe a good choice for you guys if you are always looking for some denims over 15oz !

We met Kurt  one year ago and he kindly gave us a lecture of his products. Kurt has a more than 20 years experience and research on leather products. At the very beginning of it, he was really into horse hide belts, since the horsehide will appears a different kind of sheen compare with cowhide through a long time in use. Then he try out more different types of leathers, he found that some top grade full grain cowhide can appears similar aging looks like horse hide. Through a long time research and testing, he found out that the "Sheen" that appears through the aging is a result of the density and grease of the leather. The full grain cowhide he developed can makes full grain cowhide appears same sheen as cowhide. The results do really surprise us. Also, the cowhide is in an medium weight, we guarantee that you will have a smooth "break in".

Except top grade full grain cowhide, Kurt use dead-stock copper buckles for these belts. Those buckles are used to be US Army's supplies decades ago. They all appears naturally rusty looks, and through the time you might feel them become a bit more smooth and shinning. Also, since the buckles are dead-stock, the belts will be finished once the buckles are out of stock. The drop shape belt holes design makes the belts easy to be on and off.

The belts are carefully hand-stitched and polished by experience artisans from Taiwan. In our opinion, it is a "Made in Japan" standard product. We bring in two types of leathers - natural tan and black tea-cord for you to choose. The natural tan will age to a darker brown color. The black tea-cord is a color that kurt develop by himself, through wearing, you will see a reddish brown color come up little by little.

Studio D'Artisan "1941" zippo in stock. These Zippo lighters are custom made under requirements of Studio D'Artisan company. They are limited to 300 pieces only. The lighter is a reproduction of 1941 flip-top style Zippo. The case is a 1941 style flat-plane case with a sharper edge. A 4-barrels hinge construction join the lid and bottoms instead of modern 5-barrels hinge. The inside unit is also a reproduction of 1941 style. SDA custom made the case with top grade cooper, and engraved the classic "Twin Pigs" logo on it. The cooper case will aged with some special sheen through your using. In Japan, people saw a pig on the street means good luck, hope this can bring you guys some luck as well.

In our store, over 80% of the brands and 95% of the products are from Japan, because Japanese makers are always on the way of pursuing quality. However today's brand which we are going to announce is NOT from Japan, and of course you might be wondering why. Most of our non-Japanese brands they have two things in common: one being they are extremely successful especially in Japan; the other being the high standard of quality for their products. So you may know the reason by now, yes, proudly to announce we will be carrying S.F.K., the legendary brand from Taiwan from this season.

Kurt Chen, the founder of S.F.K was first a vintage collector and he was heavily influenced by the way of how things were used to be crafted, through collecting vintage goods, he gained enormous amount of knowledge on leather, fabric and making of products. Then he got in touch with Japanese garments and deeply touched by the way that Japanese artisans' pursue for quality. In 2003, Kurt started his own store: Faith & co. Ltd., back then he was the only one who promotes the "quality fashion" concept in Taiwan or even the entire Eastern Asia region. Meanwhile the great hype of street fashion is on, and brands such as BAPE or NeighBorHooD were doing extremely well. Kurt played a very important role and had magnificent influence in today's world of quality fashion although most of you haven't even heard about his name, it was him being the missionary of quality fashion.

The key concept of the brand S.F.K. is comfort, practical and the products you can use everyday. Back in 2006, the atmosphere of quality fashion in Japan is super heavy duty. Items such as 33oz denims, shoes made from 7mm thick leather etc, as we look today such items would have been utterly uncomfortable, impractical and weighs too much for daily using. Having been through that era, S.F.K. has established their concept as we have mentioned before: comfort, practical and the products you can use everyday. The brand itself was established in 2006 as well, but all the products were prototypes and were gradually improved throughout the years until 2013, so we weren't able to see anything from S.F.K. until the Clutch Collection "C C Show" three years ago. S.F.K. haven't been in the market for so long time but they have a lot of dealers in Europe already so the quality is approbated.

We, CoRLection were also inspired such pioneer and we will like to pay extreme respect for such a great brand. Not made in Japan but has the Japanese standard of quality goods for everyday use. In the future we may be bringing in some more non-Japanese brands with premium quality. There's a saying in China says "A hero is a hero, no matter where he's from", we are the "spotter" for heroes, what we find will be good of course and we don't think origination is everything. We highly recommend you to check them out in our physical store to sense the beautiful designs and amazing quality of SFK products!

When you are talking about Corlection store, two things you won't ignore - one is denim the other is boots. Indeed, we have a six years experience in selling boots. We have sold hundreds in styles and thousands in quantities. But we still surprised to see these beautiful boots from The Flat Head company. Actually I can said that this is the best pair of boots we have ever seen, not one of the best, THE BEST! 

The boots are constructed with two kind of leathers. Vegetable tanned deerskin is constructed on the ankles of the boots. The fine and smooth deerskin gives you a butter soft and also firm feelings while you walking and moving around. Cordovan leather is constructed the rest of the boots. The cordovan from TFH is top grade horse butt hide from Europe and tanned in Japan. It appears a special sheen which photos can not demonstrate. As you might know that Cordovan has to be from the centre of horse butts leather. As TFH told us that they cost almost one horse to finish one pair of these boots.

Normally boots are a lot more heavier compare to sneakers, these boots goes with a great weight, similar to a baskets ball shoes. You will find them super comfortable and you can almost ignore the "Break In" process. It is so comfortable that you might be "Addicted" wearing them.

Stitch down technique has been used in the soling process. There are whole lot of details are finished by hand in these boots. TFH also told us that the time cost for finishing stitch down soling alone, the artisan will be able to make a wallet.

We've been waiting one year to finally receive these sample in US8.5. There are more interesting details in these boots that our camera is not able to process. But if you interested in these, you has to visit our Sydney store to have a look.
