Troy O'Shea NO.9 Vintage Wool Ball Cap (Special edition)
Troy O'Shea "Revolution 9" Vintage Wool Ball Cap (Special edition) is in stock!
Again, we team up with Troy and come up with this new ball cap. This time we do want to make something a bit more than classic sportswear. And The Bealtes' song "Revolution 9" really give us the inspiration. The song is a result that Mr. John Lennon claimed he wanted to do an audio painting of revolution. The track is full with remix of sound and noise. It has been recorded in the "White Album" and became the most controversy track of Beatles. Thats what the number 9 on the cap is about.
When we think about the colorway of revolution, we decided to use green and red. It is inspired from those iconic revolutionist figures like Fidel Castro, Mao. They often spotted wear green tops with red badges. So We choose this moss green Harris Tweet wool as the body of the cap and a burgundy red wool for the body. This fabric is vintage dead stock and sourced by Troy and it is very interesting. If you take a close look. The green Harris Tweet for the body goes with a little bit mix of different level of green. I guess "Noisy" is the right word to describe the texture! And of course, it will always keep you warm and dry!
These caps are all hand made by Troy in Australia and exclusive available in Corlection. Hope you guys will like it!

Troy O’Shea ball caps (Special edition)
Here we have another special edition project we’ve created with the well known Sydney craftsman brand, Troy O’Shea!
The ball cap design draws inspiration from the traditional baseball caps that were used by sportsmen throughout the late 1800s and early 1900s! The fitted six panel construction stays true to the vintage age look and has been embellished with ‘Cleveland Indian’ style lettering for some cool traditional styling! The crown and topside brim have been created using a specially milled deep navy wool, with a texture that feels just like how the baseball caps were back in the day! Unlike the traditional baseball caps from the late 1800s to early 1900s, the brim of these ball caps has been created slightly shorter, for a more modern look. Another subtle detail is the underside of the brim, it has been lined with a deep navy cotton twill! With wear it will age soulfully and compliment the wool exterior!
If you are a major fan of vintage style baseball caps or just love timeless atheistic then this could be a great choice for you!

Troy O’Shea 11oz Neppy Denim Field Cap (Special Edition)
Here we have another exclusive piece from Troy O’Shea! We were so happy to see that our first collaboration with Troy O’shea was so popular with our customers so we've brought in another special item for you guys!
The field cap design which originated from our previous collaboration was inspired by the iconic US Field Caps used throughout WWII . We’ve brought this style to the next level by modernising it and shortening the length of the brim for a more versatile fit! On the backside of the cap there is a Herringbone Twill Cotton & brass cinch fastener! This means you can always have the perfect adjustable fit!
The denim fabric used weighs in at a subtle 11oz and as you can see it is quite neppy! The warp threads have been vintage indigo dyed, this means that after wear and wash the denim will age to an elegant sky blue shade. To compliment this vintage ageing look, the fabric underneath the brim is a vintage 1950s American, indigo dyed, hickory fabric. This fabric has actually been cut from a 1950s vintage apron!
For those who love vintage style and ageing but with a modern vision, this is a great choice for you!
Troy O'Shea Field Caps(Special Edition)
Today we’d like to announce one of our latest projects!
As you may have noticed from our collaborations in the past we are quite interested in the Australiana culture. This is our next step into the world of mixing Nihon and Aussie culture. We have put something ‘extra' special together with the well known Troy O’Shea, an exceptional 'Australian Made' headwear brand using vintage machines and real Japanese fabrics!
For our project we were inspired to create the Field Cap Silhouette by the iconic US Field Caps used throughout WWII. The brim design of the cap itself is not just a replica from the original vintage caps! We’ve brought it to the next level by modernising it and shortening the length for a more versatile fit! Another unique detail of the Troy O’Shea brand is the special Herringbone Twill Cotton & brass cinch fastener! This means you can always have the perfect adjustable fit!
Now back to the fabrics! To bring back the classic appearance of WWII style caps and turn them in into a refreshing new we’ve created two different styles for you to choose from. For the first style we’ve chosen to use a 8oz WWII style Navy Herringbone Twill Cotton and for the second, a 8oz Indigo Dyed Selvage Duck Canvas with black ink over dyed! With each of these you will see something special underneath the brim! We’ve used Hand Dyed ‘Azumi’ Japanese knitting, in Japan this fabric is known as ‘wooden fabric’ which has so silky feeling!
These caps are perfect for those who are interested to try something refreshingly new and love vintage inspired styling! Why not support quality Australian made goods?! We guarantee you will be impressed!
