Celebrating 45 years of Japanese craftsmanship!

To celebrate its 45th anniversary since its founding in 1979, SDA has released these limited-run denim jeans and jackets utilizing one of the oldest operating vintage Ishikawadai denim machines. 

This jacket is constructed with 100% cotton, 13oz pink selvage ID denim. This fabric is woven ultra-slowly on a vintage Ishikawadai denim machine (one of the oldest Japanese denim machines established in 1953) at low tension. This results in denim fabric that strikes the perfect balance between smooth and subtly irregular texture - just like the vintage Levi's and Lee models that sparked the Japanese denim industry half a century ago! The warp has been genuine indigo thread-dyed and will age to a high-contrasted sky blue indigo look with wear and washing!

Speaking of construction, this model features a classic type 2 jacket with twin chest pockets, a pleated placket for ease of movement, a custom leather patch, coated iron buttons and rivets for enhanced durability! Compared with the OG version, this jacket has a slightly longer vertical length for an even better fit!

Specially made for the overseas market, this Samurai's "INDIGO PLUS" series with a minimal look and of course focusing on the character fading with time.

Samurai specially develop this 18oz slubby textured denim for a future stronger fade. For this pair, the warp has been initially grand indigo yarn-dyed then natural indigo over-dyed more than 10 times! The final result is this denim will age like some grand indigo-dyed denim and appear more vibrant shades of indigo like some natural indigo-dyed denim at the same time!

The ultra-thick cowhide leather patch has been slowly natural dyed by hand then naturally dried. Once naturally dried, the patch is then hand polished using horse oil to achieve an amazing matte sheen! With oxidised iron buttons for the fly and copper rivets throughout, this one will hold up sturdy with wear.

OG worker style!

This denim work cap is inspired by vintage workwear style from the early-to-mid 20th century. Samurai has remade these using their renowned specially-developed denim for a classic everyday cap you'll love to wear!
 
This cap is constructed with Samurai's specially developed 18oz "Kinari" denim. This denim has been slowly woven to produce an incredible slubby textured fabric! With time, the natural unbleached cotton yarns will age with a soulful patina!

Construction-wise, this cap features a 6-panel dome construction with cotton twill lining on the seams and headband for enhanced durability! The short brim is reinforced with chain-stitching construction to retain the shape for many years of wear. Finally, the back features Samurai's silver-coated "sunrise" button adjusters to enable you to get the perfect fit!

This heavyweight flannel is slowly woven using vintage knitting machines at a super slow pace, giving the fabric a subtle irregular texture. This heavyweight flannel design resulted from the 2023 April Truth flannel project, where Samurai appealed to the public for design submissions, with the winner being chosen after more than 500 votes! This colourway is inspired by the traditional dyes of Japan including indigo, persimmon, mud, and sumi ink. Like their famous denim, Samurai's heavyweight flannel shirts are just as durable and designed to age beautifully!

New Standard Denim!

SDA has brought this famous model back to life! Using the legendary, super-powerful Toyoda G3 weaving machine, this denim has a smooth surface and ‘new old stock’ Levi's style textures!

This pair is constructed with SDA's specially developed 12oz red selvage ID denim fabric. Slowly woven on the famous Toyoda G3 Denim weaving machine (same machine and same weaving technique used for their standard 15oz denim), this denim has a subtly irregular vintage texture that reminds us of some classic vintage Levi's denim. This time, SDA has redeveloped their indigo dyeing process for this denim and applied a grand indigo dye for a deeper and darker look with more contrast!

Inspired by vintage denim from the early 1900s, Iron Heart creates this beautiful beast for a more 'Vintage Vibe'!

This newest specially developed loosely woven denim from Iron Heart is slowly woven from a vintage shuttle loom and features a soft touch and more uneven textures compared to their signature 21-oz denim. The warp is thread-dyed with genuine indigo. With wear and wash, it will age to a high-contrasted look with a sky blue colour tone!

Construction-wise, this pair has been given the classic Iron Heart treatment. Heavyweight cotton twill has been used for the pocket bags, as well as lining on the back pockets to ensure they remain durable for many years to come! Iron doughnut buttons have been used for the fly as well as hidden back pocket rivets for added durability! The red selvedge I.D has been incorporated into the fly construction and coin pocket for added tasteful details!

Improved Whipcord Modified Type III Jacket from Iron Heart!

A specially developed whipcord fabric was used for this version. For those with a keen eye, you'll recognise this fabric from IH's famous deck jacket outer shell. Densely woven and the colour is thread-dyed, this results in a strong vertical texture and softly contrasted look with long-term use. Its density keeps you warm and cosy making for the perfect alternative to a denim type 3.

Heavily inspired by the graphics of the motorcycle culture of the 1950s and 1960s, the front side features the 'elite' idealised version of American motorcyclists, with the 'elite' outlaw motorcyclists re-imagined on the back side. 

The subtly irregular cotton fabric has been slowly woven using vintage loopwheel machines to give it that authentic vintage vibe and texture! The detailed graphics have been carefully flocking printed for the front and oil screenprinted for the back side by skilled Japanese craftsmen. Each season, Warehouse brings us some amazing graphic tees inspired by rare vintage Americana designs from the 1950s to 1970s. This tee features an alligator design in a charming folk-art style, printed on their specially developed athletic loopwheel tees!

This tee is constructed with a blend of fabric consisting of 88% cotton and 12% rayon, originally developed in the 1970s to combine the water resistance of athletic wear. Slowly woven on vintage loopwheel machines, this fabric has a soft and comfortable feel with a subtly irregular texture. Looking closely, you can see many thread-dyed colours that make up the heather shades. The graphic design is carefully screen-printed by Warehouse highly skilled craftsman. With time the graphic design and colourway will age to a soulful vintage look!
