Momotaro Indigo Dyed Cotton/Wool Sashiko "Harrington" Jacket
Cosy up for the cooler weather with Momotaro!
This jacket from Momotaro combines the classic Baracuta Harrington jacket design with traditional Japanese sashiko fabrics! The cotton/wool blended fabric makes this a highly practical jacket, perfect for those colder days!
The shell of this jacket is constructed with 65% cotton, 35% wool blend specially developed by Momotaro. Slowly woven on vintage jacquard machines, this fabric has an incredible 3-dimensional sashiko texture with a smooth and ultra-comfortable surface! The grand indigo colourway has been thread-dyed by Momotaro's highly skilled craftsmen. With wear and washing you can expect to see some beautiful high-contrast fading, with more and more indigo hues appearing! This jacket features a quilted lining made from a 58% cotton, 42% lycra blend to keep you warm and cosy during the colder months!
Construction-wise, this jacket features two buttoned waist pockets, a buttoned chinstrap and elasticated sides at the waist to ensure you get the perfect fit while remaining comfortable! The pocket bags are constructed with 100% cotton heavyweight cotton drill fabric for enhanced durability. To finish, Momotaro have used polished horn buttons which contrast tastefully with the grand indigo sashiko fabric!
If you are looking for a classic Harrington jacket with some next-level indigo fading potential, Momotaro is a great choice!
