2024 - Year of the Indigo Dragon!

To commemorate the Year of the Dragon, Momotaro has produced this stunning limited-edition pair of denim, featuring Left-Hand twill fabric and amazing details!

These jeans are constructed with specially developed 15.7oz left-hand twill denim, using 100% ultra-long Zimbabwe cotton which has been slowly woven using vintage machines. Compared with right-hand twill denim, LHT has a more pronounced vertical texture that will become more apparent with wear and wash! The cotton yarns are grand indigo thread-dyed to produce an ultra-dark indigo colour. With wear and washing these will age up to a high-contrast indigo look, with many light and dark shades shining through!

The real beauty, however, is in the details! Momotaro has chosen an amazing custom-designed cowhide leather patch featuring their signature "Peach-Boy" and "2024" laser print stamped on top. This special technique produces a holographic-like effect where you can see different graphics when looking from different angles! Additionally, Momotaro has tweaked their signature GBT stripes on the back pocket with special a two-tone indigo colourway. These have been screenprinted by skilled Japanese craftsmen and will crackle and age to a soulful vintage look with wear! Looking closely, you can see the indigo dragon embroidery design on the back pocket as well as a woven patch design on the inner waistband. In the Chinese zodiac, the dragon is said to bring happiness, strength and good health! Finally, the cotton twill pocket bags have been woven using jacquard machines to create a 3-dimensional design. This design will become more and more apparent with time and indigo transfer!
