Warehouse 5.5oz "Recreation" Loopwheeled Tee
Recreate & Relate!
Drawing from the iconic visual design of the 1950's and 1960's this tee proudly riffs on a graphic print for the Baltimore County council - the all-important job of Recreation Staff, who would have been in charge of managing sports, boats, and other actives for the population of Baltimoreans.
Made with the iconic Warehouse “bamboo-textured” cotton, this tee is sure to be super comfy! The fabric, taking its name from the strong horizontal textures reminiscent of segments of bamboo, is very elastic and breathable. Knit by vintage machines with a particular Warehouse method to achieve this texture, the machines must work at a very slow pace that can only produce about 10 t-shirts a day!
Drawing design inspiration from 1950’s sportswear garments, alongside the obvious ‘ring’ on the sleeve end and neck, this tee has a higher collar design with ribbed construction to ensure it keeps its shape. The graphic is flocking printed, meaning it’ll age gracefully over time, just like the vintage tees that inspired it.
Intended to be worn fairly tight on the body, this Warehouse tee is perfect for tucking in, with the vintage graphics and contrast neckline adding a visual flair to an already excellent t-shirt. With a charming print taken from a rowing club there on the front of the tee, you’re sure to keep it your ducks in a row!
