The indigo is a stunning 12oz thread-dyed fabric slowly woven from a vintage machine that comes with uneven textures. With time, you'll see this sashiko gradually fade to a lighter shade with many varieties of soft indigo shining out! 

The Sumi-Black is also 12oz thread-dyed Nogari sashiko is slowly woven from a vintage machine that comes with uneven textures. With time, you'll see this sashiko gradually fade to a more vintage look! 

Hundreds of years ago, when most Japanese wore cotton-made kimonos every day, they were valuable heirlooms that you can leave to your children and grandchildren. To maintain the quality of cotton-made kimonos over time, the Japanese developed their repairing technique and that is how ‘Nogari Sashiko' started! Now you can enjoy the wonderful texture of it neatly on your own waist!
