Jelado "Tiger" Denim Quilted Jacket

June 01, 2017

Jelado

I'm sure you guys see a lot of souvenir jacket these days, but most of them is in a baseball jacket or bomber style. We team up with Jelado company and come up with something quite different. This "Suka" is a mix style of a car coat and a military bomber. The shell has been covered with a 15oz raw selvage denim which is Jelado's homemade classic. Also, the jacket has been cotton quilted to give you extra warmness and sewed with a diamond shape pattern. With wears, the denim will age uniquely with the diamond shape pattern to give you more vintage military style look. We put a tiger embroidery on the right chest. The tiger embroidery is a claissic Vietnam War souvenir jacket icon. It is simple and light up the dark indigo denim on the shell. We choose a "Thinsulate" nylon camo as the lining. It is wind breaking and water resistant as well which is perfect for an Australian winter. We also put two deep side pockets on the sides so it also works as hand warmers. The "waffle" collar and ribbed cuffs are heavy duty to help you to get extra warm as well. A great choice for those who's hunting for a winter daily jacket with unique style!

How We Measure

Pants and Shorts

Waist:

With the major buttoned up (i.e. the top button) open the jeans and lay them flat, like shown. Measure from the front where the major button closes to the back belt loop. Double this measurement to find the waist measurement.

The way we measure the waist is different from the 'Side to Side' technique. If you are used to the 'side to side' technique you can roughly roughly downsize by 1 inch.

For example, 'side to side' measurement for The Flat Head 3002 waist is 28inch and using our method measures at 29.25inch.

Front Rise:

With the jeans lying flat measure from the crotch bar tack to the top of the waistband.

Back Rise:

Spread out the crotch so the bar tack is visible, then measure from the crotch to the top of the waistband.

Thigh:

One inch down from the crotch, measure flat across to the other side.

Inseam:

Flatten the leg and measure along the inseam from the crotch to the leg hem.

Leg Openning:

Measure straight across the hem from side to side.

Tops

Shoulder:

Lay flat then measure from the shoulder's edge to the other shoulder's edge.

Chest:

Lay shirt flat and measure from pit to pit.

Sleeve length:

With the sleeve flat measure from the shoulder to the cuff.

Arm hole openning:

Measure from the shoulder down to the pitt.

Vertical length:

With the shirt facing down, Measure from below the collar to the bottom hem.
