The medium weight selvage flannel is super comfy for all seasons and the colorway is so elegant to match with any denims, chinos or even shorts. Unlike most of the brands, all the buttons of The Flat Head shirts are hand-stitched which cost 2 minutes to finish a single button (100 times more time than machine stitching) which will guarantee you that the buttons from tearing up the fabric itself even the shirt has been worn over years and get much thinner.

The Flat Head "Full Shell Cordovan" Welted Short Wallet
The Flat Head enhance their wallet collection each year. For 2016 spring summer, we receive their all time best selling - cordorvan short wallets. Compare with their previous versions, these short wallets got shell cordovan covered not just outside but also inside including card slots, coin cases and notes compartments. Different from other brands, TFH choose their cordovan extremely careful. They only used the very centre part of horse buttock leather to make sure they are in top grade quality and flawless as well. This kind of cordovan is so called "high density shell cordovan". The sheen of the leather is quite unique, not to mention the supreme durability.
TFH also treated their cordovan with a special vegetable tanning process. Through time, you will see them aged in quite a unique way. We can not define the dye technique since we never see anyone doing similar job as The Flat Head do in the world. So we guess we just call it "The Flat Head Dyeings".
Normally, hand made wallets go with a single stitch sewing for the edge. TFH wants their wallets become your life time belongings. They double layered the edge of the wallets and put a double hand stitch sewing on it with some serious cordovan leather welted. Trust me, You might get high just by touch the edge of the wallets. And of course, they will never be out of shape. Committed to the details of the details, the whole wallet has been hand stitched, even the pull of the coin case has been hand stitched either.

The Flat Head 2111 20oz Denim
The Flat Head 2111 20 oz denim in stock!
Another new model we bring in from The Flat Head company. Originally, 2111 is a project to celebrate the 15 years anniversary of TFH company. Under the high requirements from oversea dealers, small batch will be released every year for oversea only. We are glad that we get our hands on these this year! The denim goes with a 20oz apple red selvage fabric which with 30 times of indigo dye and 40 level of indigo shades. Even with a 2 years heavy wearing, you will still see the aging keep going. Since this is an extra heavy pair, everything is "extra". You will find extra thick goatskin leather patch, extra double stitched on back and front pockets, even TFH's signature Union Special chain-stitched arc has been doubled (They all finished by hand, so imaging how difficult that is to finish, we not just talking thickness, this requires the highest sewing skill). A WW2 era style donut buttons has been used for these pair, rich silver coated texture makes the details looks really amazing. All these "extra" details with the extra thick fabric guarantee that the durability of this pair is "extra" as well.
The denim goes with a mid-high rise slightly tapered fit. They are slimmer than 3009, higher rise and looser compare with 3001. Really a great choice if you looking for something heavy or a cozy winter jeans.

The Flat Head X Miwa Komatsu "Year of the Monkey" Limited Edition Tee
You might still remember we once bring in The Flat Head and Miwa Komatsu's collaboration "Dream Chaser" tee a while ago. Those are some quick sold out in our stores, and we oftenly being ask if we gonna have those back in again. Unfortunately those are limited edition, but we happy to say that the second collaboration between them is in store now.
Miwa Komatsu is a Japanese aquatint artists (what is aquatint? click here). Her art work is full of pure imagination of fantasy and extreme on details. You will find out more on her personal website here. Also, Miwa is a contract designer for Chanel Japan now.
This collaboration is based on a Nagano's (which is where The Flat Head company was founded) local species - Snow Monkey. Snow Monkey is considered as the god of thunder in Japanese fairy tale. You might also want to know that snow monkeys like to sneak into spa to keep themselves warm in winter. Sounds familiar? Yes, this is also the concept of A Bathing Ape was from as well. To celebrate 2016 which is the year of monkey, Ms Komatsu and The Flat Head come together again and create this beautiful art work exclusive for this collaboration.
The t-shirt is make of TFH's classic heavy duty loopwheel fabric with their two/three needle constructions. The print will aged a little bit through using, you will see them cracking a little bit with wears. White and yellow colors are avaliable in both Corlection Sydney and Melbourne.

The Flat Head 12oz Denim Jacketed Shirt
We have come across many denim shirts, those fabrics are commonly weaved by shuttle looms that work on a faster pace than the ones they use on jeans. But this Flat Head 12oz denim shirt is totally different: the fabric is made in the same way that the jeans' and jacket's fabric were made. So you might also call it a Jacketed Shirt. The 12oz fabric is made by proper denim shuttles as mentioned before, so it has given it a more un-even surface, also the indigo was dyed super rich in colour so it will fade gradually in a high contrast as their jeans do. Also, if you look into the texture with very strong contrast in the warp, you might be thinking this might be a left hand twill denim, but it is actually a right hand denim.
Construction wise, all the structural parts were chain stitched so the garment is strong enough for your everyday wear. The other parts of the garment were single needle stitched for a neat finish, and the buttons they use is made from genuine mother pearl. Luxurious!

The Flat Head 5002 Restocked
The Flat Head 5002 has become just as popular as the 3002 in our stores throughout these years. The overall construction are the same however the 5002 has a higher rise, bigger in the waist, a longer inseam and overall a slimmer silhouette. The fabric is called the "future" denim fabric that made the jeans softer and more comfortable to wear; and it will age into a sky blue colour, a more vintage style look. The leather patch is also made from deerskin instead of 3002's goatskin to match the more vintage look of the 5002 with wears. We welcome all of you who are interested to try them out!!

The Flat Head 3002 & 1002 Get Restocked
We just fully restocked The Flat Head 3002 & 1002 (from size 28 ~ 38) which are some of our most popular denims in store!
The 3002 is in a low rise/slim tapered fit and the fabric is made with The Flat Head very own 14.5oz orange selvage ID denim which has been sold over 20 years in Japan and are also well loved by The Flat Head fans . The 3XXX denim is some very unique right hand twill denim will appear super strong vertical textured fades with wears . The denim has been rope-dyed over 24 times and more than 30 shades of indigo in it which fade much slower compares with others but with a mega contrast fade for a future look!
The Flat Head 1002 is some heavier version of 3002 and it is also called "Future Denims" in 16oz. The denim is slightly stiffer and they will age to a bigger contrast fade compares to 3002 denims. TFH 1002 maybe a good choice for you guys if you are always looking for some denims over 15oz !
