The Flat head X CORLECTION

For those of you still curious about our collaborations, we are pleased to announced that our newly collaboration denim with The Flat Head - "Last CORL".

The whole idea came up when we listened to a song of Oasis called "Hello" and there is a line of lyrics says that "Life is a game we play". You might know that The Flat Head and its premium line R.J.B also have some gamble theme products as well. So we think that it will be pretty cool if we do something related to gambling.

This project is an continues idea of "Aussie CORLING" jeans we did last time. So we play a little bit word play from "Last Call" which is an common phrase in poker to "Last CORL" means the final chapter of this project. We took idea from Mr. Kobayashi's photograph pose and transfer into an clean and classic graphic into the leather patch. Not just the graphic, the leather patch goes with some interesting details as well. If you looking closely , you will find that the normal "W(aist) xx L(ength) xx" has been changed to "W(aist) xx IN(seam) xx". "Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose" but we all we want is "WIN"! We chose dark burgundy color for leather patch graphics and back arcs to makes them stands out in an low key and elegant way.

In the paper tags, you will also find some interesting details. The "AK" suited is considered as a "never fold" hand in poker. We think it will be pretty cool that we put the face of Kobayashi san in the card "King" since they shares the capital "K" for initial!

A 16oz orange ID selvage denim has been used for this collab, you will see some really nice vertical fade in a strong contrast through the ageing. we adjust the fit a little bit as well, to make the fit more modern - a bit more taper and a bit more fitted as well. Premium deerskin leather has been used for the leather patch . We use an super rare fabric from R.J.B for the inner pocket, it is silky but super durable with a nice texture, they normally use it for R.J.B's leather jackets and tailored suits!

These jeans are limited edition for 100 pairs only and they will be release on 23rd of July! Stay tune for more information!
