The shell is made of a 1.3mm thick horsehide which is specially developed by Shinki, the most famous Japanese leather tannery for The Flat Head! It takes 4 ~ 6 months to finish its vegetable tanning process and its black uneven dyeing (a.k.a Black Tea-core Dyeing). With wear, you will expect some more beautiful sheen and also some reddish-brown underneath coming up little by little.

This jacket is lined with their signature lightweight kersey rayon, which is made up of the fibre of bamboo. It is antibacterial material and also makes this horsehide jacket more breathable on warm days!

Construction-wise, this jacket comes with pleats that give you a lot of movements for daily wear. The back has twin brass buckles that allow you to adjust for different styling and layering in different seasons!

We are pleased to bring you TFH's latest denim model, showcasing the masterful skills and craftsmanship they have accrued over their 25-year history!

Compared with their standard 3XXX 'Pioneer' denim which is made from USA cotton, this pair is constructed with the highest-grade Zimbabwe cotton. This long-fibre cotton containing natural oils is renowned for being both super strong and super comfortable! The cotton threads have been yarn-dyed 24 times with high-grade indigo, to produce a deep, rich indigo hue! The denim has been slowly woven using vintage looms to produce a fabric that has a slightly smoother and more comfortable fabric with stronger vertical textures than their standard denim!

Construction-wise TFH is faultless! This pair features chain stitching, hidden back pocket rivets, and bar tack stitching on the crotch for added durability! TFH has also loaded this pair with plenty of tasteful details including a deerskin leather patch, orange selvedge ID, and heavy-duty iron buttons which will age with a beautiful patina! The pocket bags are constructed with heavyweight HBT fabric which will age soulfully as the texture is highlighted by indigo transfer! The back pockets initially appear as a plain design, however, TFH has chosen dark navy stitching for the pocket arcs which will start to pop as the denim ages to a sky blue look, adding a tasteful, tonal contrast!

First designed for the higher ranking officers of the U.S Military in the 1940s, the Serviceman shoe was early adopted for use in civilian life due to its sleek, minimal and timeless design! Its popularity has only grown with time and has been worn by everyone from work-wear enthusiasts, to punk subcultures, and even paired with more formal wear!

The Flat Head has recreated this classic footwear design using premium Shinki horsehide leather, with hides chosen from the neck area of the horse. This gives the leather a super-fine grain that is silky smooth to the touch, and has a naturally high sheen! The interior is fully lined using super-soft calfskin leather for added durability and comfort! This black/brown teacore horsehide has been vegetable-tanned, and with time will acquire a soulful patina with lighter shades of brown coming through, as well as a shinier, glossier texture!

Tiger, king of animals!

Another year and another amazing collaboration from garment masters The Flat Head and legendary artist Miwa Komatsu to bring you the "Year of the Tiger" Loopwheeled Tee!

For those who may not know, Miwa Komatsu is a well known Japanese aqua-tint artist. Her art pieces are driven by her fantastical imagination and are all truly unique! She has created amany famous pieces in the past, and has even worked as a contract designer for Chanel!

This piece is inspired by the lunar year calendar for 2022; The Tiger represents bravery, courage and strength and is considered the 'KING' of all animals.
