With such an incredible texture, it's hard to ignore this beautiful indigo Kasuri dyed 15oz selvage denim which is slowly and densely woven from vintage weaving machines. The different shades of indigo are hand-dyed by skilful Japanese artisans then woven into the denim. Looking closely you can see the many levels of indigo dye applied to each thread that make up for a scattered vertical look.

The outer shell is made up of a '60/40' cloth; ever-popular in Japan for its lightweight feeling, quick-drying abilities and serious durability! That Japanese favourite, the USA loopwheel fabric, has now been taken to a next level tee thanks this exceptional indigo dye.

The loopwheel fabric is made using USA cotton on vintage machines in America. This fabric has a classic textured feeling thanks to the natural cotton fibres and weaving method. Then the fabric is taken to SDA's craftsman in Japan for construction of the final tees!

After a long time of use, the natural indigo over-dye will gradually reveal more shades of brighter indigo making up for a soft contrasted look. Some stunning fades await on this one! 

The tasteful artworks have been skilfully discharge-printed, and will gradually fade to a crackled vintage look.

As part of SDA's newly developed loopwheel fabric series, we've put together a more minimal version without a chest pocket and adjusted the fitting for a slightly more comfortable fit.

This 7.5oz loopwheel fabric is woven with indigo dyed threads to make up for a 'denim' look with plain cotton threads utilised to make up for a neppy texture. With on-going use, you'll see a soft contrast, faded look as the texture develops a stronger vertical pattern.

For extra strength, the collar features a heavy ribbing fabric and triple stitching, it'll keep its shape with time and mould to your body shape.

SDA doesn't play when it comes to their Sashiko!

Here we have their latest version of their world-famous 15oz Sashiko fabric. When you first feel the texture of this one it's apparent how amazing this one is. The surface is soft to the touch and has a strong, raised texture with many varying shades of indigo hidden in each fibre.

You can expect to see high contrast fading with long term usage as the raised fibres become lighter and the lower fibres maintain their deep hue.
