Each season MOMO introduces us to some of Japan's finest fabrications created with vintage machines and their unique vision for modern-day garments.
To make for the ultimate long-term fades, this vintage machine knitted fabric has been genuine indigo and grand indigo yarn dyed. Like denim, each cotton fibre will gradually reveal a unique shade of indigo with use. The overall fabric has also been skilfully printed with a border pattern to make up for a subtle, contrasting look. The high-quality, pure Zimbabwe cotton used, creates a super smooth feeling when worn.
With an extra heavy ribbed collar and a tasteful, chest pocket these tees are a 'sweatshirt' construction standard and will hold up with use in time.

To make this classic USA design to a Japanese standard, MOMO uses its medium-weight indigo-dyed sashiko. This fabric is slowly woven using vintage machines whose texture has a raised appearance and will gain more contrast with long term usage. Momotaro '15TH ANNIVERSARY' 15.7oz LHT Modified Type 2 Denim Jacket
We've got a MOMO surprise for you!
In addition to Momotaro's previous drop for their 15th anniversary, they also released this 15.7oz left-hand twill denim version. A whole different denim world to explore!
For this edition, they hit us with the left hook! This specially woven 15.7oz denim is created with a left-hand twill, which results in a softer, more vertical texture than their standard right-hand twill denim. The weft is dyed in grand indigo whereas the warp is a beige-grey tone. This combination of threads results in an extra dark indigo tone. With time, expect to see some strong vertical indigo fading contrast.
For a luxury standard, MOMOTARO used a deerskin patch dyed with grand indigo! The colour will gradually darken and gain a shiny patina like a jewel. The gold stamped '15th' adds some tasteful contrast. As for the waist pocket bags, MOMOTARO used a printed HBT fabric for comfort. For even more contrast, the buttons are made up of iron but gold plated for a luxury standard!

This classic shoulder bag, one of Momo's most popular accessories, has been re-imagined!
This specially-woven 15.7oz denim is created with a left-hand twill, which results in a softer, more vertical texture than their standard right-hand twill denim. The weft is dyed in grand indigo, whereas the warp is a beige-grey tone. This combination of threads results in an extra-dark indigo tone. With time, expect to see some strong vertical indigo fading contrast.
With an extra tasty, wagyu-level 'Tochigi Leather' patch, the front side has a classic look, just like your fave pair of MOMO denim. With use, the leather patch will gain a deep brown sheen! Adorned with the classic GTB stripes, for that true MOMO spirit!

MOMOTARO GTB HEAVYWEIGHT TUBULAR PULL OVER

Slowly woven using vintage tubular machines, this heavyweight tubular knitting fabric has a super soft surface and towel feeling interior for added comfort. With ongoing use, the surface will become faded to a soulful look with soft contrast. Unlike typical sweatshirts, Momo opted for thicker cotton yarns to make up for a more textured feeling.
To make up for a better fitting, the cuffs and hem feature ribbed openings made using vintage machines. The hood features a tonal waffle thermal lining which is also woven using vintage machines. Use the braided ropes to adjust the hood to your liking!
