The 13oz fabric is made up of African cotton using vintage machines, you can see the uniquely brown shaded coloured threads when looking up close. Using ivory coloured stitches, the contrast adds a unique feel. With time this amazing fabric, will age to a well used, vintage look.

With oxidised rivets and black coated WWII donut buttons, it feels familiar but so interesting. True to Orgueil’s vintage taste, the inner waistband features hidden suspender buttons.

Originating from the german military, these are a uniquely robust!

Nicknamed ‘German code cloth’, this 100% cotton fabric has a soft furry feeling and a horizontal, zig-zag texture. It’s comfy against the skin and sturdy enough for daily work use. 

Created using vintage workmen style construction, the waist features a v-shaped backside for a three-demensional fit. This is special detail seen throughout the early 1900s.

With a once washed, vintage feeling and Waldes zipper, these feel durable yet comfy and will only get better with time as the over-dyed colour ages.

Earlier this year we introduced to you the Orgueil brand, a special collection of refined and elegant gear produced by Studio D’artisan. Here we have today, a super interesting product from their silver jewellery collection made by North Works. We may be one of the only stockists outside of Japan with these kind of special items!

The inspiration for this piece comes from the American one dollar coin which was in circulation from 1878 to 1921. This coin is regarded as one of the most beautiful coins, due to its significant design representing the goddess libertas and an eagle with its broad wings spread. These old coins had a consistency of 90% silver and 10% copper. This was one of the very first silver one dollar coins minted. These coins are valued as collectables and are from a time when American coin minting still used high amounts silver for production.

These bracelets are skilfully hand built in Japan. Each bracelet its truly unique, the outer side displays four beautifully hammered halls marks to pay homage to hand made silver craftsmanship techniques from the past. Like the original Morgan One dollar coins, this bracelet has been made with a special 90% silver and 10% copper mix. The many intricate details and markings will become more and more beautiful with use.

Introducing Orgueil - a new brand we bring in this season. The word "orgueil" is from french means "pride". Orgueil is a special line made by Studio D'Artisan focusing on revive the design from early 20th century. Pieces from Orgueil are full of beautiful vintage details and proudly crafted in Japan.

We bring in this beautiful trench coat from Orgueil. It is made of a 12.5oz nep denim fabric which blended with 88% of cotton and 12% linen. The fabric is in a beautiful vintage french blue color with a neppy texture which makes the ageing in the future super unique. The 12% linen makes the fabric much more breathable.

The design takes inspiration from a vintage french trench coat. You will find a lot of beautiful curving lines in it - like the big round collar & the drop shape side pockets. Not just designs, it also goes with some amazing vintage details. you will find that every buttons are made of coconut shells with some beautiful carving details.
