Thanks to being woven densely using slow vintage machines, this 100% cotton heavyweight moleskin fabric is sturdy and highly durable. In brand-new condition, the surface is smooth with a velvet-like texture. With ongoing use, a 'rough out' like texture will develop as it ages to a very tasteful vintage look.

Speaking of construction, this jacket features two waist pockets which are perfect for use as hand warmers, as well as one internal chest pocket to secure your daily valuables! Chain stitching is used extensively throughout for added durability! A new standard, an iconic classic!

Momotaro is back again, with their new and improved GTB tee - this time at slightly heavier 8oz! Spun from thick Zimbabwean cotton on vintage looms, these tees are wonderfully wearable. The increased weight from previous seasons reveals even more texture across the tee, which will, with wear, age stunningly. Over time it will continue to soften and become perfect for everyday wear! The neck is made from a particular solid binder specification, so it's sure to hold up over many years of year, and retain that proper neckline that all good tees need! 

And, of course, this tee features the iconic GTB stripes on the sleeve! The stripes are discharge printed, and will age and crackle gracefully with wash and wear. As the tee ages the yarn-dye colour will fade to a vintage look, which will contrasting nicely against the iconic GTB double stripes!

A new classic from the Momotaro line, this is the perfect mid-weight pair of jeans. Made from a classic 13oz Zimbabwe cotton denim, it’s a lovely combination of soft and easy-to-wear denim that is perfect all year round wear!

Using the same weaving method as their 15.7oz denim, this pair strikes the perfect balance between super-soft comfort with a slightly irregular texture for some soulful character! Just like their 15.7oz denim, this has been indigo yarn-dyed around 20 times resulting in an ultra-rich, almost black look! With time, you can expect to see some beautiful high contrast fading with plenty of lighter and darker indigo hues!

This pair features all the details you’d expect from Momotaro, with iron Momo buttons, hidden copper rivets and jacquard-lined pockets for ultra durability! Momo have chosen a special indigo-dyed deerskin leather patch which will age to a soulful look with time! Of course, the signature Momo peach-coloured inseam and selvedge threading!

The SP line also features the iconic Momotaro “Going to Battle Stripes” emblazoned across the back pocket! These have been carefully screen-printed by the skilled Momo craftsmen and will age to a vintage crackled look with time!The 0306 model is a mid-rise jean, with a slim-tapered fit. We find it sits comfortably with its higher rise, and with a slightly more accommodating thigh.

The 0405 model is a high-rise jean, with a slim-tapered fit. We find it sits pretty high on the waist, features a roomy thigh, and tapers down to a tight leg opening. A modern tapered fit, with a more accomodating wait and thigh line.

Yet again, merging the beauty of vintage American workwear and the long history of Japan's natural dying traditions, MOMO has created something special.

High-standard 12.7oz hickory fabric is made using vintage denim weaving machines and features a grand indigo-dyed thread and natural, unbleached cotton. To take things a step further, MOMO has used aged 'Hinoki' cypress bark to naturally overdye the hickory fabric to achieve a warm beige hue. Watch at this fades to a vintage look with soft contrast over time and the 'earth' colour of the bark slowly reveals in areas of wear.

Constructed with a classic 5-pocket design, the riveted pockets and chain stitch construction will hold up very well with time. The brass zip fly makes for a more comfortable wearing experience and is complimented by the super soft, vegetable-tanned cowhide patch.

We're pleased to present the Momotaro 9oz Indigo Kasuri Jacquard Workshirt! Here, Momotaro uses the traditional Japanese indigo dyeing and construction technique of Kasuri. Kasuri is the Japanese technique of dying and weaving fibre threads together to create patterns and sometimes imagery in the final garment. In this shirt we see some stunning texture work running all over the garment - upon closer inspection the details are staggering. This is some seriously stunning indigo work!

This 9oz knitting fabric is slowly woven from the vintage jacquard machine, it has a smooth touch and also comes with hidden uneven textures. The cotton yarns are thread-dyed with many shades of indigo, with wear and wash, you will see it ages beautifully to a more soulful look! You can wear it in different weather and seasons comfortably all year round!
