Talking about some of the best 'Made In Japan' leather jackets, you can not ignore The Flat Head! The concept of this sport jacket is inspired by the 1940s vintage version, which The Flat Head has re-created to the next level!
The shell is made of a 1.3mm thick horsehide which is specially developed by Shinki, the most famous Japanese leather tannery for The Flat Head! It takes 4 ~ 6 months to finish the vegetable tanning process and the uneven dyeing (a.k.a Tea-core Dyeing). With wear and leather conditioning, the leather will darken with a higher sheen as well as lighter tones on wear areas, making for a beautiful vintage patina!
This jacket is lined with their signature midweight kersey rayon, which is made from bamboo fibre. This fabric is silky-soft against the skin and has antibacterial properties, making this horsehide jacket more breathable on warm days!
This jacket features a pleated construction for ease of movement during daily wear. The back has twin brass buckles that allow you to adjust for different styling and layering in different seasons!
Fitting-wise, compared with some 1940s vintage versions, the sleeves are slimmer and shorter, and the body shape is more curved which fits perfectly for a modern fashionable look!

The Flat Head 9oz "Bikes & Vintage" Loopwheeled Tee
The graphic design is inspired by 1950s vintage American motorcycle culture biker, which The Flat Head does uniquely!
This tee is constructed with a specially developed 9oz loopwheel fabric. Thanks to the slow weaving process, this fabric has a super soft, slightly irregular texture, but a substantial feeling. With time, the softness will become enhanced and the tee will retain its shape thanks to the extra heavy cotton thread used for construction.

The quilted design of this wallet is inspired by a 1950s leather jacket and accessories styles. The 'diamond' pattern is hand-stitched by skilled craftsmen onto the super-soft Japanese deerskin. This deerskin has been vegetable-tanned for over 3 months to achieve a rich colourway. With time this will age to a soulful vintage look, with a higher sheen and appear some natural tan underneath!
Full-grain high-density horsehide has been used on the exterior edges and interior for contrast. The highly durable horsehide is used on the external edges to protect the deerskin from excess wear. The black leather has been tea-cored dyed and will reveal rich brown tones as it scuffs and wears to a beautiful vintage look!
With a large note compartment, a button-secured coin pocket, and card slots this wallet has all the bases covered for practical use. The heavy-duty zipper closure ensures your valuables are secured!
