The Flat Head 'Ultimate' Horsehide Type 2 Jacket (Black Tea-cored)
Talking about some of the best ‘Made In Japan' leather jackets, you can not ignore The Flat Head! This type 2 leather jacket is finished by their highly skilled craftsmen in their famous Stockburg leather studio!
The shell is made of 1.3 mm-thick racing horsehide specially developed by Japan's most famous leather tannery, Shinki, for The Flat Head. It takes 4 to 6 months to complete its vegetable tanning process and its black, uneven dyeing (also known as Black Tea-core Dyeing). With wear, you will expect some more beautiful sheen and also some reddish-brown underneath coming up little by little.
This jacket is lined with their signature lightweight kersey rayon, which is made up of bamboo fibre. The material is antibacterial and also makes this horsehide jacket more breathable on warm days!
Fitting-wise, it is inspired by the 50s vintage type 2 denim jacket from Levi’s, in a slim fit silhouette and comfort in the armpit.
For those who are looking for an 'Only The Best' horsehide type 2 jacket, we guarantee this will amaze you!
