The Flat Head

We are always excited to see the latest products from TFH! This is the "Lion Ring" Cordovan Mid Wallet in Tan from The Flat Head.

When it comes to the best quality leather goods, there ain't no better than The Flat head! Each year they always improve their products and take no compromises when it comes to quality and design.

TFH choose their leather very meticulously, they only use the best, flawless, 'high density' shell cordovan from Japan. This shell cordovan is like no other, it is extremely durable and treated with TFH's special vegetable tanning process . TFH is the only company who have this special process. We can't even define how they do this process so we call it as "The Flat Head Dyeing method”!!
For this wallet they have used their new natural tan shell cordovan. Meaning that the surface of the cordovan leather needs to be completely flawless and free of scars or any damage. This will age beautifully and slowly turn to a dark brown colour with long time use. A super soft but durable golden pigskin has been used to line the inside of the wallet. This allows the wallet to open and close perfectly without any creases.

The completely hand sewn construction also stops the wallet from creating any wrinkles or creases. Each hand sewn stitch is carefully tensioned and vary in key places to make sure the stress is evenly distributed when the wallet is in use. Each internal compartment is also taken into consideration and thanks to the hand sewn details and design they are extremely functional and not to mention very beautiful!

The exterior wallet ring has been made with TFH’s own sterling silver and has been hand hammered with many intricate details. To us it has some similarities to the old door knockers that were used for the wealthy houses in China. This will slowly age as it gains character and become more beautiful with long time use.

If you really want the best, then look no further because this is it! To truely experience and appreciate the quality you must see one in person!! This may be the last time we see this special wallet from the The Flat Head so don’t hesitate before it is too late!!
