Back in the earliest days of The Flat Head brand, this western shirt design was one of their signature items! Inspired by 1950s vintage cowboy western denim shirts, this classic style is still a timeless choice for daily use!
TFH have updated their signature 10oz denim for this shirt! Typically a 10oz denim is impossible to create with an amazing texture but TFH has done it! The vertical texture is super strong and will become enhanced with time to a strong contrasted look. Peep that amazing salmon selvedge ID on the inner placket and side hem.
Now with a slightly longer vertical length, the overall design is more balanced and practical for folks outside of Japan! The extra heavy snaps feature amazingly textured mother of pearl inserts which gleam in the light. Constructed with a single needle and chain stitch machines, this one is super sturdy and will hold up strong with daily use.

This 10oz Wabash fabric is slowly woven exclusively by TFH using denim vintage machines, unlike some other brands that use typical machines. This yields a beautifully textured surface that will gain rich contrast with wear. The deep grand indigo dyed threads will slowly reveal more shades of indigo and gain a stronger vertical texture.

The heavyweight flannel fabric has been specially developed using vintage looms to make a raised textured surface, unlike any other brand! When checking the inner details you can see TFH have exposed the flannel selvage elegantly.

After two years of waiting, the single cuffs are back!
This time, TFH have altered sizing for a better fit over longtime usage. Each cuff is skilfully made using full grain cowhide which is super durable yet comfortable against the skin.
The solid sterling silver hook will age to dark, high contrast look as the details become more apparent and unique!
The black un-even dyed cowhide will age with time to an irregular black sheen with natural tan shining through.

In classic Wabash style, the dotted pattern has been discharged printed and will gradually fade to a lighter, irregular look in areas of wear. Peep the hidden selvage ID on the inner placket and bottom side hems!

The Flat Head X MIWA KOMATSU 7oz "Year of the OX" Loopwheeled Tee
Each year TFH collaborate with the legendary artist Miwa Komatsu!
For those who may not know, Miwa Komatsu is a well known Japanese aquatint artist. Her art pieces are driven by her fantastical imagination and are all truly unique! She has created many famous pieces in the past and has even worked as a contract designer for Chanel!
This piece is inspired by the lunar year calendar for 2021! The Ox represents reliability, steadiness and strong stamina to continue moving forward to the future.
Skillfully printed, you can see the sharp details of Miwa's art. With time the print will slowly age up to a soulful crackled look, a very tasteful ambience like some vintage USA tees, but with the Made in Japan standard of course.
This specially developed loopwheel fabric has a soft texture, but with a substantial feeling. With time, the softness will become enhanced and the tee will retain its shape thanks to the extra heavy cotton thread used for construction.

THE FLAT HEAD 'KUDU' SUEDE OXFORD SHOES
Every time we see TFH release some new leather products, we know it's gonna be a serious one!
This is their latest special development! TFH do spend the time to refine their designs, construction and styling for the outcome. We can confidently say TFH leather products are some of the best in the world.
This style in Japan is known as 'Oxford' and is a classic work style toe shape with a semi-formal look that's designed for daily use!
The uppers are made up of TFH's exclusively Japan made Kudu leather that has very dense and short raised fibres. The hides are sourced from antelopes and skilfully tanned and dyed thoroughly for a rich colour. Despite being Kudu suede these still have a beautiful sheen on the surface in the light unlike typical European or USA kudu leather. With time, the leather will gain a more irregular look as the raised fibres developed an uneven pattern.
For added comfort, the inner lining is made up of silky smooth calf leather. This also reinforces the insides for a lifetime of wear! With horsehide detailing on the tongue and outer trim, this will develop beautiful contrast with use!
The construction method is fully rebuildable and a specially developed double, stitch down technique refined by TFH's best craftsmen. The outsole is a Vibram's extra-durable cushion sole that you'll get plenty of use from!

THE FLAT HEAD 7OZ SUPER SLOW LOOPWHEELED TEE
The highest level of loopwheel!
For those who really want to try the BEST loopwheel, it’s worth going for these. TFH utilise some of Japan’s oldest running loopwheel machines to operate at a super slow rate. This yields a very vintage feeling fabric with a super smooth cashmere feeling on both sides! This kind of old machine can barely make enough fabric for 10 tees per day!
With TFH’s signature triple-stitched collar, there’s no chance of overstretching. They use extra thick, cotton threads for their construction when compared to typical tees.
Thanks to the thread dying technique, these will age to a soulful look with soft contrast. Unlike typical over-dying techniques, this will age with more shades of colour!
For this version, we’ve made the vertical length 1 inch longer than the standard series to make up for a modern fit.
