Another classic piece of Americana-inspired clothing from Japanese vintage masters SOC!

The inspiration for this jacket comes from classic Native American designs of the American West. Constructed with Japanese medium-weight jacquard knitting fabric that is specially developed by SOC. SOC, the masters of vintage detailing who bring us a new vision!

Inspired by some of the most historic vintage USA training sweats but brought to a modern-day level with an improved design.

Specially developed, of course, this super slow loopwheel fabric is woven gently with just enough density for durability but the softness for pure comfort! Thanks to being yarn-dyed, the overall charcoal ashy colourway is deep and has many shades. For added contrast, the charcoal loopwheel pockets, ribbing and hood are attached. With time you'll see some super soulful fading and the loopwheel fabric become brighter and brighter with soft contrast.

As one of the hallmarks of vintage hoodies, standard sweatshirts were converted back in the days to hoodies retrospectively. The collar is maintained and the front side features a vintage style metal zip.

The famous railroader chore coat just got to another level!

Each time SOC brings us their outerwear they always show us a new perspective of vintage! This piece is inspired by the railroaders of the USA back in the early 20th century. The chore coat design has been re-imagined to a more practical modern standard by SOC.

The outer shell is made up of a specially developed, 14oz selvage duck canvas. Take a look at all of those beautiful exposed selvage ID details. SOC is famous for its high contrast fading duck canvas, this is it! With time you'll see some beautiful fading with many layers of indigo due to the thread dyed indigo. For additional warmth, the lining is made from a jacquard weave fabric using various thread dyed colours. The surface of the lining is also brushed to make up for a more comfortable feeling against the skin.

The overall construction is made up of extra heavy, dense single needle sewing. With complimenting, oxidised doughnut riveted buttons, the overall vintage look is complete and has an elegant feeling. To make for more practical use, the front waist pockets feature a double compartment design.

SOC evoke the mythic spirit of old America with their denim
'Stockman' jacket!

The design for this jacket has been directly inspired by classic workwear and cowboy jackets of the late 19th and early 20th Century America, updated with an elegant, slim fit!

The 11oz black denim has been slowly woven using vintage denim machines to create a subtly textured fabric that is extremely comfortable!
The colour is black sulphur thread-dyed, with time it will reveal the undyed white core as it fades to a beautiful monochrome look!
Lightweight mustard/blue flannel fabric has been used for the lining, which has been slowly woven from vintage shuttle looms to create a soft and comfortable feel.

Construction-wise, SOC has overloaded this with plenty of ornate Western-inspired stitching, curved yoke, doughnut iron buttons and U-shaped pockets inspired by the patterns and designs of the American West! You can see that the unique green selvedge I.D has been used extensively throughout the jacket in the plackets, waistband and cuffs! Back adjusters let you customise it for the perfect fit. The pleated front and back design enable a greater freedom of movement while retaining a sharp silhouette! Finally, the full lining of the denim jacket including the sleeves showcases the skilful craftsmanship and time gone into creating this jacket! The cotton fabric is what SOC calls an 'Air Spun Yarn', which is slowly woven using vintage thermal knitting machines. As the most iconic denim from SOC, the 727 'La Jolla' model is a slim tapered fit that has been popular for many many years!

SOC's signature 13.5oz green cast denim, has been slowly woven with vintage machines to create a subtly textured denim that appears as classic indigo denim at first. However, with wear and washing, you can expect to see some serious vintage-looking green-blue hues come out! It also features a unique green selvage ID and a super soft feeling thanks to the 100% Zimbabwe cotton.

SOC has drawn inspiration from pre-20th Century denim styles to create a ton of interesting details! Skilfully created by Japanese craftsmen, this pair is sewn using ‘single needle’ construction, a super difficult task that makes up for an elegant look! The doughnut fly buttons are leather-backed, which will age with a soulful patina. This one takes inspiration from vintage work wear clothing worn by the rail road workers. When you look closely, you’ll notice this is so different compared to typical vintage ones!

This lightweight selvage fabric has been slowly woven using vintage machines and features an alternating ‘rope’ stripe pattern! With time, this pattern will maintain it’s visibility unlike printing techniques. To make up for a soulful look, this one has been ‘nano-mist-treated’, in brand new condition it has that dead-stock look from a previous generation!

To keep ya hands comfy, this one has double front waist pockets. SOC have tastefully designed these slant pockets for maximum functionality! With external and internal chest pockets, you’ll have plenty of space for your gears.

Those golden metal buttons and brass band tab on the collar add charm to the design!
