Samurai continue their 25th anniversary celebration with the release of the Yakuyoke tee, which represents the warding off of evil spirits, and the bringing of good fortune!
This intricate and detailed discharge printed design features a Johrei practitioner who is channelling positive light and energy upon the wearer, cleansing and purifying their spirits. It’s said that the light can bring with it great health and luck in the years to come!
Samurai’s printing technique is super skilful! If you look closely, you can see the crisp level of detail and lettering that features varying levels of tone that will develop a gorgeous marbled look with wears.
Slowly woven using vintage loopwheel machines, these tees have a super soft feel that will eventually age to a soulful look with time.

Ultimate Natural Indigo for a Shogun!
To commemorate their 25th anniversary, Samurai has brought us this extra-special version of their best-selling Type II Denim jacket!
This jacket is constructed with 100% cotton which has been slowly woven on vintage machines to create highly textured denim! This denim features an extra slubby texture on the weft, making up for a unique fabric with plenty of character! Compared to the classic warp-only indigo dyeing, this jacket has been natural indigo hand-dyed on both the warp and weft! The natural indigo hand-dyeing process is based on an over a thousand-year-old tradition of skilful craftsmanship, which only a handful of artisans in Japan can finish perfectly, or we should say ---- MAGICALLY! Both the warp and weft have been hand-dyed 15-20 times. On top of this, Samurai's highly skilled craftsmen have chosen to use threads that have different concentrations of indigo applied to them. This gives the denim a subtle yet beautiful mottled indigo appearance! With time, this jacket will age very slowly, yet very differently compared with standard indigo dyeing, revealing many beautiful shades of natural indigo colour!
This jacket features many hidden details that are sure to put a smile on your face with an indigo/silver lamé selvedge I.D, and Samurai's signature "Iron Sunrise" buttons! Take a peak inside the pocket flaps and you will see Samurai have chosen a specially developed "asagi" indigo sashiko fabric for the lining!

Samurai 6oz Super Slow Loopwheeled Tank Tee '23 Version

After a year of waiting we are so pleased to get these Samurai tanks back on the shelf, just in time for summer proper!
For this '23 version, Samurai has used the highest grade cotton, with a silky smooth touch that you will love to wear all year round! The weight is heavier which will help hold the shape even better over years of hard wear!
These are made from a super slow loopwheel machine that can only make up to 20 meters on a good day. Similar to Ripen cotton tees, these are slowly made for an improved, soft texture that will only get better with time.
To improve the fit, this is a special run just made for CORLECTION. We asked Samurai to make the vertical length slightly longer and the shape more curvy than their standard version!

Samurai 19oz "Kiwami" S511XX-19oz Denim (Slim Tapered Fit)

This season, Samurai brings us their latest version of classic 511 slim-fit denim in their specially developed 19oz "Kiwami" denim! "Kiwami" means the "pinnacle" or "the ultimate" in Japanese and reflects the brand's meticulous approach to quality and striving for perfection in their garments!
This 19oz "Kiwami" slevage denim fabric has been slowly woven on vintage machines to produce a slubby three-dimensional texture! The Texas cotton threads have been grand indigo yarn-dyed. With wear and washing, you can expect to see some beautiful high-contrast fading with plenty of light and dark indigo tones!
Speaking of details, this garment takes inspiration from Japanese culture and history. The iron buttons feature an engraved "Iron Sunrise" design while the rivets have been engraved with "Sho gyo mu jo" Japanese for "All things must pass". The heavyweight cotton pocket bags have been slowly woven on vintage jacquard machines to produce a three-dimensional design, which will become even more apparent with indigo transfer from the denim. Lastly, this pair features silver selvedge I.D. which represents the sharp glinting edge of the samurai's katana sword!

Samurai 7oz "Painting" Loopwheeled Tee (Beige)
Yet again, Samurai is back with some of the industry's best graphic 'ART' tees for you to enjoy!
The aging of denim is something that is highly regarded by all denim fans. Of course, by the Samurai themselves. Taking this inspiration, Samurai have created their own 'art' to document fading in time. The chest print is slowly layered together like an artist would paint. We doubt anyone will be able to tell it is painted, even from up close. That is the magic of the Samurai!
For this version, Samurai have introduced a terry-like internal texture for improved comfort and breathability. Using a specially produced cotton fibre called ‘Ripen cotton', these tees have a mild slub texture with a smooth touch. The extra-long cotton fibres are super strong and have an oil-rich, soft texture thanks to being partly grown outdoors and indoors for the ultimate yield!
For better fitting-wise, Samurai has cut the side seam, tapering down the shape a little bit and then used flat-seam construction for the side seams again for extra strength!
