Freewheelers 30s Motorcycle "La Brea" Horsehide Jacket (Rude Black)
Talk about some 'Best of The Best' leather jackets, how could you ignore Freewheelers?
Inspired by the 1930s vintage motorcycle double-breasted leather jacket, Freewheelers does make it even better!
The shell is made of Freewheelers' specially developed 1.3mm thickness horsehide in a Rude Black colourway. This Rude Black horsehide has even more sheen and a more luxurious feel if you compare it with their Vintage Black version. This Rude Black horsehide has been dyed in a grey colourway and then over-dyed in black colourway again, with time, you will expect it to age to a rugged vintage look!
The linings of this jacket are our other favourite parts! The lining of the body is constructed with Freewheelers' specially developed medium-weight high-density wool fleece and the sleeves are lined with their specially developed medium-weight cotton flannel to keep you warm in those windy days!
Design-wise, this is our favourite 'D' Shaped-pocket Motorcycle jacket design! It comes with a side-zip, open collar and leather belt which is considered a classic pre-war aviators' motorcycle jacket design. The sleeves and the front pocket have silver-coated iron rivets on them, which are hand-hammered by skilful Japanese craftsmen that give this jacket a more rugged look.
Fitting-wise, it has slimmer sleeves and a more curved body than the vintage version, which fits more elegantly for most of the customers!
If you are looking for a Best of The Best motorcycle leather jacket, no doubt, this is The ultimate version!

Freewheelers "USN Ground Crew Jacket" Civilian Model
ground, sky, or sea! Proving it again, here they bring us the "USN Ground Crew Jacket" Civilian Model!
Drawing inspiration from a rare, lesser-seen jacket design found around the end of WW2, Freewheelers remain unparalleled in borrowing and updating classic designs with their striking twist. The Construction Battalion division of the US Navy was primarily responsible for the building of defensive structures, such as roads and bases, and that spirit is infused throughout this jacket.
Here FW uses a specially developed heavyweight cotton chino drill, their version of duck canvas as the outer shell; with the inner lining and sleeves in a two-layer structure - perfect for keeping you warm and dry in the event of a little rain. Thick stitching and thread are used across the garment, in particular on the outer cotton drill, making it durable and with wear will develop a stunning patina.
The lining inside the body and down the sleeves is an astonishingly soft alpaca and sheep wool blend, with the ribbed sleeves and hem of the jacket comprised of sheep’s wool. The collar is made of extra-thick sheep’s wool pile as well, and double-flocked for double warmth and softness!
Of course, the Freewheelers details that jump from every nook and cranny, the high-quality black zipper on the front, the soft flannel inners for the hand-pockets and the collar clasp for keeping your neck warm!
Stay defended from the outside elements with Freewheelers!

Freewheelers N-1 1940s Naval Deck Jacket
The KING is back on DECK!
The famous N-1 Deck jacket is the pinnacle of USN gears for so many Made in Japan brand collectors. FW may be the only one who truly takes it to the top level. Each season they strive to bring it to a new level.
Specially developed by FW, the outer shell's jungle cloth deck fabric is so unique! It's densely woven using vintage machines and has a substantial feeling, unlike other brands whose deck fabric feels more flimsy and loose. It's skillfully coated with a waxy finish that not only provides a water and windproof seal but also creates a smoother surface and will maintain over time, much longer than cheaper versions. The yarn-dyed colourway will gradually reveal soft contrast with time, even more, exaggerated than those classic photos you see of those USN gentlemen standing on deck in the cold weather.
The inner lining is another step above the standard. Made using a blend of sheep and alpaca wool, the lining is soft like cashmere and gentle on your skin without the typical irritation you'd get from other brands. They've also reinforced the lining with heavy cotton interlining for increased durability and weather resistance.
Constructed with a double fastened storm flap, you'll always be in control of your body temp with the heavy urea buttons and vintage Waldes style zip. The cuffs feature the iconic ribbed woollen openings, made from vintage knitting machines to keep the wind out of your sleeves without feeling uncomfortably tight. The underarms feature metal eyelets to regulate your inner temp.
Flip up the collar for a USN look with the 'V' stitching details. If you've been waiting for that top-level N-1, this is it!
This season we would love to introduce the Dark Red Beige and Dark Khaki Green colourways!
