Land of the rising sun!

To celebrate its 45th Anniversary, SDA has cooked up some special items, using the traditional "Akane madder" red dye, historically used for the deep red colour of the "Hinode" rising sun emblem! SDA has used this dye for their bestselling 7oz USA cotton loopwheel tees, making up for the perfect summer tee!

The loopwheel fabric is slowly woven using USA cotton on vintage machines. This fabric has a classic textured feeling thanks to the natural cotton fibres and weaving method. These tees are overdyed by hand using the "Hinode" hand dye many times to achieve the beautiful natural red colour. With time, this tee will fade to an even more soulful look with wear and washing!

Combining the great aspects of American-grown cotton and Japanese traditional hand dyes, these tees are a balance of East and West!
