STUDIO D'ARTISAN 12OZ INDIGO 'KIRIKO' SHORTS

Jacquard-woven masterpiece inspired by traditional Japanese glassware!

When talking about fine Japanese craftsmanship ‘Kiriko’ is the main focus! Back in the Edo era, high-end glassware was meticulously handcrafted and detailed making for an iconic look.

Taking the traditional Kiriko pattern design, SDA used jacquard weaving machines and a combination of grand & genuine indigo-dyed threads to make this amazing pattern.

Unlike typical printing methods, the pattern is woven and will maintain its contrast with on-going use. Thanks to the indigo-dyed threads, you’ll see many beautiful shades shine with each wear!

To match the tonal indigo look, the high-grade deerskin patch has been completely indigo-dyed! With use, it will gain a unique sheen, contrasting nicely with the jacquard woven fabric.

With contrasting carved urea buttons and curved pockets, this is a great choice for those with a taste for traditional Japanese artisanship!
