Samurai X CORLECTION 8.5oz "Last Samurai" Loopwheeled Tee
“Fight For Freedom, We’re All Samurai!”
This is the limited-edition t-shirt filled with meaningful and intricate details. Let’s break it down and show you what we’ve built for you!
A. < Details of Design >
a. Front Graphic – The Word “幕”.
The front graphic carries two profound meanings. The character “幕”, originally handwritten by Nogami-san, the founder of Samurai Jeans, has ancient roots in Japanese culture.
Firstly, “幕” means “curtain”—a signal that the scene begins, like the opening act of a film or battle.
Secondly, it refers to the “Shogun’s Gate”, the symbolic threshold of the Shogun’s castle—the place where the supreme leader of the Samurai resides.
In the era of the Samurai, receiving a word from the Shogun was not merely language—it was an honour bestowed, a sacred rite of acknowledgment. In this design, Nogami-san becomes the voice of the modern-day Shogun, honouring the wearer with this symbolic gift!
b. Back Graphic – The First Portal.
The back design is your first portal into the story.
“Violence Unfolds at Midnight, In Silence.”
Just as life confronts us in silence and darkness, the true warrior does not seek applause—but moves with quiet resolve, carrying dignity and intent. To fight with honour, silently and from the depths of your soul, is to already walk the path of the Spirit of the Samurai!
B. < T-Shirt >
This tee is constructed with Samurai's signature heavyweight 8.5oz loopwheel fabric. Slowly woven using vintage machines, this fabric has a substantial, super-soft feel with a mildly irregular texture! With time, the sulphur-dyed colourway will age to a soulful, vintage look! Samurai’s printing technique is super skilful! If you look closely, you can see the crisp level of detail and lettering that features varying levels of tone that will develop a gorgeous marbled look with wear.
C. < Conclusion >
This is more than just a limited edition tee—it’s a soul-forged declaration of the “Spirit of the Samurai” to the world, to our Modern Western Samurai.
