Sashiko is one of Japan's most famous domestic fabrications! Ageing characteristics are the perfect match for a fusion of classic American flannel shirt patterns.
This heavyweight sashiko is thread dyed with varying colours of natural indigo and complimented with natural white cotton. When woven into a flannel pattern, the vertical texture has amazing high contrast and will reveal more shades of indigo with time.
Constructed with lightweight cotton twill linings on the cuffs, collar and placket, this is built to a jacket-like standard. Also, the sleeves feature panelled sections for elbow protection. For a luxurious feeling, the cat eye buttons are made from a dark shell which gives off an elegant glimmer in the light.
