Samurai "Aimadara" Indigo Dyed Dobby Field Jacket
Indigo Soldier!
Samurai are back with a fresh take on the timeless field jacket, worn by US soldiers during the mid-20th century. Samurai has specially developed indigo dobby fabric with some serious aging potential!
This jacket is constructed with Japanese medium-weight dobby knitting fabric specially developed by Samurai. This midweight dobby knitting has been slowly woven using vintage machines to produce a strong irregular texture! The yarns have been dyed using a mixture of black sulphur and natural indigo dyes. With wear, you can expect an amazing mottled texture, as the black yarns remain steadfast and the indigo yarns age to a high-contrast indigo look!
Speaking of construction, Samurai has updated the classic field jacket design to include a zipper collar so you can zip up to the top for cold days! This jacket features two large chest pockets for your daily storage needs, and also doubles as handwarmer pockets! Adjustable button sleeve hems ensure you get the perfect fit for different layers!
