Springtime denim!

This pair of denim takes inspiration from the "Uguisu" AKA the Japanese bush warbler - a small green bird native to Japan. In Japanese culture, this bird symbolises the end of winter and the return of spring with its associated feelings of hope and revival. With this in mind, Samurai has crafted a truly one-of-a-kind green denim in a hefty 17oz left-hand twill fabric for you to enjoy!

This pair is constructed with Samurai's specially developed 17oz green selvedge ID lefthand twill denim made from a 100% cotton blend from America, Australia and Brazil. Slowly woven on vintage machines, this fabric has an incredibly slubby texture that is still soft and comfortable for daily wear! Thanks to the yarn-dyeing process and the LHT properties, you can expect to see some high contrast fading with wear and washing with a strong vertical texture appearing more and more!

As expected of Samurai, this pair features many beautiful details including a custom ultra-thick cowhide leather patch with the Uguisu bird design, custom embossed buttons and rivets and tonal green chain stitching for ultra-durable wear! The pocket bags are constructed with Samurai's heavyweight jacquard fabric. With time, this pattern will become more pronounced with wear!
