Maru Sankaku Peke by SDA "Tsugihagi" Indigo Denim Coverall
Vintage never dies!
This latest creation from MSP takes inspiration from the classic denim coverall design, which has been redesigned by MSP using their innovative patchwork construction utilising beautiful antique Japanese fabrics!
The shell is constructed with 12.5oz indigo-dyed denim and has been woven using vintage machines to create a soft yet subtly textured feel. To achieve the amazing 'sunny' fades, the craftsmen have applied washing and ageing processes to age the product. With so many shades of indigo present and high-contrast areas with stories to tell... its a dream come true for fading fans. This jacket is also lined with Japanese lightweight 40% wool, 40% cotton, 15% polyester and 5% other blended fabric for ultimate warmth, comfort and breathability!
Speaking of details, the amazing patchwork decorations on the collar and waist have been created using antique Japanese indigo-dyed cloth. Each piece has been carefully hand-cut and sewn together by skilled craftsmen and women to create the beautiful diamond-shaped "tsugihagi" design.
With heavily oxidised buttons and copper rivets, this one has some true vintage character. The chain stitching construction throughout has some charm with its irregular execution and provides extra durability for long-term wear!
If you are looking for a truly unique, aged denim coverall with vintage Japanese fabrics and detailing, MSP is a fantastic choice!
