Japan Blue Cotton/Tetron Twill Harrington Work Jacket
Japan Blue continues to release easy staple piece after easy staple here, and they've continued their streak here. Made in the style of a Harrington jacket, a garment originally intended as a golfing jacket, the Japan Blue Work Jacket is easy to wear year-round. When a golfer steps up to the plate they don't want to be constricted, and this jacket is built with this in mind.
Made entirely in Japan from a Tetoron polyester and "TC twill" cotton blend, this jacket is all about ease of motion. Drawing on the qualities of each, this jacket embodies the strength of both. The "TC" twill cotton, a material mostly used for hardwearing outdoor clothing, or even tents, is highly-breathable and water absorbent. The Tetoron polyester is a wrinkle-resistant stretchable fabric that, when combined with the cotton, ends up as something thick, supple, and strong. With wear the fabric will age gracefully, becoming shiny and gleaming.
Japan Blue has made this piece with raglan sleeves, to allow a wider range of shoulder motion - work on your swing! They've also removed the ribbing at the sleeves and hem for a smarter, sharper look. Not so casual, not so serious.
