Traditionally, Sashiko fabric is one of the most well known Japanese fabrics. With Japan Blue’s modern vision, they have managed to reinvent the classic!
This version of their unique Sashiko shorts has such a strong vertical appearance ! Up close you can see and feel the irregular pattern of super dark indigo threads contrasting against the lighter shades. With time, you will see the many shades of beautiful indigo appear as the fabric ages to a modern look.
To create such a fabric, JB use vintage machines with various shades of indigo thread to slowly weave the unique texture.
With the vintage universal zip and functional, slim fit cut these are some serious shorts for your casual ‘indigo days’!
