BONCOURA MODIFIED TYPE 3 CORDUROY JACKET
The ultimate easy-to-wear relaxed cut trucker jacket has rolled in!
For those denim fans, you will recognise this classic design from vintage Levis' 55, a rarely seen series. Taken to another level by Boncoura, this is one of our favourite examples of the trucker jacket!
BON' have a passion to develop their spectrum of fabrication. This one might bring back memories of vintage Ralph Polo garments with tastefully large ridged corduroy. To make this material to another level, BON' have created a heavyweight corduroy with extra-large ridges and a silky smooth surface without a 'scratchy' feeling. They use full-grain natural cotton to make up a beautiful sheen. It takes 6-9 months to bring from raw materials to the final fabric, from a vintage machine.
An extra heavy deerskin patch has been used for the brand tag. When felt in hand you can see the depth of the grain and natural sheen shine out. This kind of deerskin grade is typically used for leather jackets and is very rare. With engraved and curved iron buttons, the closures have a classic yet elegant appearance. The wait pockets and perfect to keep your hands cosy and feature natural cotton herringbone twill fabric.
If you've been seeking a unique, vintage levis-inspired jacket with a modern vision, this is the ultimate choice!
