Each season, Warehouse brings us some amazing graphic tees inspired by rare vintage Americana designs from the 1950s to 1970s. This particular iteration exhibits a classic design from the the Holmes Marshall volunteer fire department in Piscataway, NJ, all discharge printed on one of Warehouse's specially developed 'bamboo textured' tees!
Crafted from Warehouse Co.’s specially developed 5.5oz “Bamboo Textured” knit, the fabric is slowly woven on a vintage early-1950s Sinker tubular knitting machine. This low-tension, gravity-fed process yields just one meter of fabric per hour—enough for only around ten T-shirts per day. The yarn-dyed finish will age gracefully over time, developing an authentic vintage character.
In terms of construction, it features a slightly higher ribbed collar, helping the garment better retain its shape over time.
