This jacket takes inspiration from the late '40s military sports jacket design. This time, Unique Garment have reworked this original design from the ground up, providing an even better fit and improved construction. Hence, Unique Garment have titled this utility jacket their "VERSION 2.0"!
Constructed with Japanese heavyweight jungle cloth, this densely woven, hardwearing fabric is slowly crafted on vintage weaving machines, making it perfect for a variety of outdoor activities. The surface is skilfully finished with a wax coating, providing excellent water and wind resistance while creating an irresistibly smooth texture that will continue to develop beautifully over time. The yarn-dyed colourway will gradually develop a soulful, vintage character, just like a well-worn military piece from WWII!
Design-wise, we really love the adjustable cuffs and waist adjusters, allowing you to comfortably wear different layers underneath the jacket across different seasons. Moreover, the additional bar-tack stitching on the pockets reinforces these high-stress areas, helping ensure this jacket is built to withstand years of wear!
