As a popular item for daily wear, UG has introduced us to their modernised version for a more practical choice.In Japan, moleskin is regarded as one of the top-tier cotton fabrics, equal even to a certain extent to high-end horsehide or leather jackets. Thanks to being woven densely using slow vintage machines, the fabric is sturdy and very durable. In brand new condition the surface is smooth and uniform and being with ongoing use, a 'rough out' like texture will develop with a very tasteful vintage look.Built to a 'jacket' standard, heavy gauge cotton thread has been used with vintage sewing machines to construct the piece. The extra heavy 'Anchor' urea buttons will ensure things stay fastened when in use and add some vintage charm to the look. For added durability, the flaps of chest pockets, cuffs and collar feature HBT linings.
