“Stanley — The Killer Chambray!”
Constructed with Unique Garment’s proprietary 9oz selvage chambray, this fabric is slowly woven on vintage denim shuttle looms rather than traditional chambray looms. This unique weaving method provides a smooth hand and sturdy feel, while creating subtle uneven textures beneath the surface. The yarns are thread-dyed Sumi Grey, allowing the chambray to develop a beautiful high-contrast fade with wear and washing, just like Unique Garment’s raw denim!
Design-wise, from the cuffs and gussets to the internal construction of the shirt, Unique Garment has insisted on using actual selvage edges wherever possible — making the selvage an integral part of the garment rather than simply a decorative detail. Finished with natural shell buttons, this shirt carries a subtle touch of luxury that complements its rugged construction.
