Ultima Thule by Freewheelers "Monster GEN2" Soft Shell Jacket (Black)

Size Guide
"Monster Generation 2" is here, more practical and of course, more luxurious!

As part of FW's Ultima Thule sub-brand, this jacket is for those deep winter days where you need the ultimate protection but can enjoy the lightweight nature of its design. For this 2nd generation, FW has increased the warmth and grade of outer shell fabric for even more protection and comfort.

The outer shell is made of a specially customised nylon Cordura soft shell fabric that is windproof and durable. The surface is waterproof, keeping you dry from the rain. For the inner lining, FW has upped the PrimaLoft standard to the highest available in Japan, GOLD standard! It's very light thanks to being made with microfibres and doesn't have moisture issues like natural feathers making it perfect for winter use.

For better ease of use, the inner lining is silky smooth nylon allowing you to move freely. The front zip features a storm flap with a second zip, keeping you completely warm. The tall collar keeps the wind out but also features a retractable hood for when things get rainy. With numerous secured external and internal pockets, you can easily store all of your gears. For the perfect fit around your wrists, use the velcro adjuster strap.

This is truly the highest standard winter jacket when it comes to High-technique fabrics and design. If you're keen to try a super lightweight winter jacket with the skill of traditional craftsmanship, this is it!

How We Measure

Pants and Shorts

With the major buttoned up (i.e. the top button) open the jeans and lay them flat, like shown. Measure from the front where the major button closes to the back belt loop. Double this measurement to find the waist measurement.

The way we measure the waist is different from the 'Side to Side' technique. If you are used to the 'side to side' technique you can roughly roughly downsize by 1 inch.

For example, 'side to side' measurement for The Flat Head 3002 waist is 28inch and using our method measures at 29.25inch.

Front Rise:

With the jeans lying flat measure from the crotch bar tack to the top of the waistband.

Back Rise:

Spread out the crotch so the bar tack is visible, then measure from the crotch to the top of the waistband.

One inch down from the crotch, measure flat across to the other side.

Flatten the leg and measure along the inseam from the crotch to the leg hem.

Leg Openning:

Measure straight across the hem from side to side.

Lay flat then measure from the shoulder's edge to the other shoulder's edge.

Lay shirt flat and measure from pit to pit.

Sleeve length:

With the sleeve flat measure from the shoulder to the cuff.

Arm hole openning:

Measure from the shoulder down to the pitt.

Vertical length:

With the shirt facing down, Measure from below the collar to the bottom hem.
