Each season, UES bring us some of Japan's most impressive flannel shirts with some unique colourways!
Made of 100% thick cotton, this shirt is comprised of indigo rope-dyed yarn. The cotton threads have different indigo colour densities to create a subtle flannel across the shirt, and the cotton wick has been left undyed for some stunning fading.
Woven using a re-constructed vintage denim machine, the fabric is inspired by indigo wabash cotton twill and thread dyed in grand indigo. This means with time the pattern will retain, unlike other brands that use printing methods. These have an amazing texture in which you can see the alternating pattern is raised and will fade to a more contrasting look.
Made to the exacting UES standard with Chain Stitching, a brushed interior for maximum comfort, and side-seam gussets, this is a really stellar top-of-class indigo work shirt. Charming details, like the acorn-shaped pockets which is inspired by a 1940s workshirt, complete a stunning piece!
