The Flat Head Heavyweight Corduroy Varsity Jacket (Burgundy)
$891.00 AUD
Classic Ivy Style!
This corduroy jacket is inspired by varsity jackets from the 1950s and 1960s worn by American university students to show pride in their school. Subsequently, the jacket became a popular and fashionable style worn by actors, musicians, and notable cultural figures. This version from The Flat Head features a stylish burgundy corduroy shell with a quilted lining to keep you warm!
The shell of this jacket is constructed with 100% cotton heavyweight corduroy, slowly woven using vintage machines! The surface has a three-dimensional, velvet-like texture with a soft sheen. The quilted nylon lining is super soft against the skin, and provides some insulation to keep you warm and toasty!
Speaking of details, this jacket features yellow-coated iron snap buttons which contrast nicely against the burgundy shell, and make this jacket quick and easy to button up and off. Densely woven ribbing fabric is used for the sleeve and waist hems to keep out the wind and keep you warm. The chest is embroidered with TFH's signature "flying wheel" logo. Twin hand warmer pockets make this jacket highly practical, while the internal pockets are perfect for storing your smartphone or wallet!
