“Ivy Senior!”
This jacket takes inspiration from the late-1960s ivy-style tailored blazer design. Sugar & Co. has refined the original design, creating a version with richer texture and character for modern-day enjoyment.
Constructed with Japanese 13.5oz sanforized high-density denim, slowly crafted on the ‘70s denim shuttle loom, giving it a sturdy feel and a smooth hand. The cotton thread of both weft and warp is rope-dyed in Solid Black, and with wear and washing, it will age nicely into a high-contrast, “Black and White” look.
Design-wise, we love the serious binding construction across the body, which you can only find in tailored suits these days; fitting-wise, it is a “Three-Dimensional” tailored fit, and the buttons are made of natural horn, which will become shinier and more soulful-looking over time.
