This season we are proud to introduce you to our first collaboration with Japanese master bootmakers -- Skoob! This pair is inspired by vintage military-issue chukka boots that look elegant for your daily wear!
These boots are constructed with specially developed 3mm thickness horsebutt leather. This thickness is much harder to source than the standard 1mm thickness version, and combines the substantial feeling of cowhide, with the beautiful sheen and grain of horsebutt! It takes 4 ~ 6 months to finish the vegetable tanning process and black uneven dyeing (a.k.a Black Tea-core Dyeing). With wear, you can expect a more beautiful sheen and also some reddish-brown tones coming up underneath little by little!
These boots are constructed by a small handful of highly skilled Skoob's craftsmen, and the attention to detail is next level! Thanks to the Goodyear welt construction, these boots can always be re-soled and become a pair of LIFETIME boots! The outsole is a Neoprene Cord extra-durable cushion sole, from which you can expect many years of wear!
