This heavyweight “Elemental” flannel is specially developed by Samurai. Slowly woven on powerful vintage machines, the resulting fabric boasts ultra-strong horizontal slubby textures whilst still remaining smooth to the touch. The exterior is yarn-dyed in dark beige pigment while the interior is dyed dark green, creating a rich, earthy, Moss Beige hue. Over time, the fabric will age beautifully, developing high-contrast fades reminiscent of Samurai’s signature raw denim.
Design-wise, we really love the round collar design, while the hand-polished natural nut buttons add a subtle tonal contrast and will age gracefully over time. The cuffs feature a lightweight cotton twill lining for extra durability.
