Inspired by traditional Edo-period Japanese warrior kites (Musha-e Dako), symbolising strength, good fortune and the wish for a prosperous future.

This tee is crafted from “Aged Cotton”, grown outdoors for approximately four months before being carefully stored indoors for another one to two months, allowing the cotton to mature naturally before being spun into yarn. This unique process produces “Premium Aged Cotton” with exceptionally long fibres, delivering an incredibly smooth, silky feel against the skin.

Slowly woven on a vintage loopwheel machine at an incredibly slow pace of just half a meter per hour, this T-shirt features a smooth outer surface, a towel-like texture on the inside, and beautiful, subtle irregularities throughout the fabric. The yarn-dyed colour will gradually develop a richer, more soulful character with wear and washing, giving the T-shirt a unique vintage look over time.

Construction-wise, the collar features “Triple-Needle Stitching” for enhanced durability, ensuring this tee is built to last for years of wear! And the graphic design uses traditional Japanese ink print, which will age nicely to a more soulful look with time.
