Specially made for the overseas market, this Samurai's "INDIGO PLUS" series with a minimal look and of course focusing on the character fading with time.
Constructed with Samurai’s specially developed 18oz “Indigo Plus” selvedge slubby denim, slowly woven on vintage denim shuttle looms. The warp yarns are first rope-dyed in grand indigo, then overdyed with natural indigo more than 10 times! This unique dyeing process combines the best of both worlds: the denim will develop the beautiful ageing and high-contrast fades of grand indigo denim, while gradually revealing the richer, more vibrant shades of blue typically associated with natural indigo denim.
The ultra-thick cowhide leather patch has been slowly natural dyed by hand then naturally dried. Once naturally dried, the patch is then hand polished using horse oil to achieve an amazing matte sheen! With oxidised iron buttons for the fly and copper rivets throughout, this one will hold up sturdy with wear.
