Samurai have brought us a truly unique piece this season, honouring Japanese reverence for nature with this exquisite indigo and Sakura (cherry blossom) dyed denim! These jeans are constructed using Samurai’s specially developed 18oz blue selvage ID “Indigo Sakura Plus” slubby denim which utilises Samurai’s own self-farmed domestic cotton (a.k.a ‘Nippon Cotton’) for the weft. The warp is first thread-dyed first in grand indigo and then over-dyed more than ten times with natural indigo. The weft in turn is sulphur-dyed using boiled Sakura juice, providing the denim with a unique, warm pink tone that becomes more pronounced with each passing month of wear. With consistent wear and washing, you can expect the denim to develop a high-contrast fade with a rich, soulful character!

Design-wise, we also love the luxury silver-coated ‘Sakura’ iron buttons; the mid-rise, narrow straight fit is perfect for guys who love vintage style but prefer a more tailored fit.
