Samurai has taken inspiration from the iconic Type A-1 Flight Jacket worn by fighter pilots during the 1920s! Originally constructed with leather, Samurai has remade the design using their signature 17oz indigo-dyed "Bushido" selvage denim!
The body of this jacket is constructed using Samurai's signature 17oz "Bushido" indigo-dyed denim, and slowly woven using vintage machines to produce irregular vertical textured denim with exaggerated white dots! With wear and washing, it will age to a high-contrasted look with many shades of blue colours!
Speaking of details, this jacket features a super comfortable and washable wool blend ribbing fabric on the collar, sleeve hems and waist to keep you warm and toasty during the colder months! Olive HBT fabric has been used for the lining for enhanced durability and making it easy to put on and off! Polished horn buttons have been used on the collar and placket for some tasteful vintage charm! The twin waist pockets are perfect for your daily storage needs!
