“Katana — The Blade That Cuts Through Darkness!”
This 15oz silver-coloured selvage ID “Aoki Tachikage” denim was specially developed by Samurai exclusively for this limited-edition release. Slowly woven on vintage denim machines, it offers a smooth hand feel with a subtle, uneven short vertical texture. The warp yarns are first rope-dyed with pure indigo before being overdyed with black sulphur dye. In brand-new condition, the denim appears almost solid black, but with regular wear, the underlying indigo tones will gradually emerge, eventually fading into a beautifully high-contrast look.
Design-wise, we love the blue-painted main buttons—a subtle reminder that, beneath the black exterior, this is still an indigo denim at heart.
