Samurai 10oz Indigo Dyed “Nippon Cotton” 1940s Style Denim Overalls
$880.00 AUD
“Nippon Cotton — The Raw. The Finest!”
Originally only available for Direct Retail from Samurai’s “Cotton Project” shop in Osaka, this season Samurai have finally produced enough of their denim overalls to supply their overseas customers!
The design of these denim overalls draws inspiration from the 1940s denim worker overalls and is constructed in Samurai’s newly developed 10oz high-density selvedge denim. Utilising only Samurai’s self-farmed Japanese cotton and slowly woven on the vintage denim machine, this denim possesses a mildly neppy texture whilst remaining smooth to the touch. The fabric is thread-dyed with grand indigo, such that with wear and washing, it will age beautifully into a high-contrast look.
Design-wise, these overalls boast highly functional features, reminding that this piece truly is designed with hard workers in mind! From the adjustable straps for different sizes and heights, a functional chest and apron pocket, reinforced double-knee construction, dual side pockets, and finally a small hidden tool pocket on the thigh.
If you are looking for a very stylish, unique, textured pair of denim overalls, this should be an ideal choice!
