These trousers are constructed with PBJ's specially developed heavyweight back satin fabric made from 100% cotton. Slowly woven using vintage machines, this fabric has a rugged hand feel with an irregular surface. The colourway has been sulphur yarn-dyed navy for the warp and black for the weft, creating a subtly “mottled” appearance. With wear and washing, you can expect this to age to a high-contrast, soulful look!
In terms of construction, this piece is modelled on the classic ’41 military chino, updated with a few modern touches from PBJ. It features gusseted waist pockets for enhanced durability, while the pocket bags and waistband are lined with high-density cotton twill for long-term wear. A zip fly adds everyday practicality, and PBJ’s signature “Indigo Leaf” logo is subtly embroidered on the front waist pocket for a refined finishing detail.
