“Write Your Own History in Indigo-Sumi.”
Constructed with PBJ’s specially developed 16oz blue coloured selvedge ID double-nep denim. Slowly woven on vintage shuttle looms, this denim has an ultra-nep texture for both the weft and warp. The warp yarns are dyed with Grand indigo, while the weft yarns are sulphur-dyed in Sumi black, creating the unique “Indigo-Sumi” look. With regular wear and washing, the denim will gradually develop high-contrast fades, revealing more and more beautiful shades of indigo over time!
To achieve the “Indigo-Sumi” colourway, PBJ has dyed all the buttons, rivets, and even the sheepskin leather patch in pure black as well! Finally, PBJ has included their signature "indigo leaf" embroidered logo in a tonal dark navy colour!
